At 528 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms centered just west of Dowling Park, or 15 miles southwest of Suwannee River State Park, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and minor flooding due to heavy rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible. Locations impacted include... Live Oak, Jasper, Jennings, Suwannee River State Park, Suwannee Springs, Crossroads, Luraville, Mcalpin, Dowling Park, and Blue Springs.

Recommended Action

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
